Apex Guardian Network was founded to bring a more accountable, better-trained approach to physical security — one where the officer on your property is backed by real technology, real supervision, and real standards.
Our Story
Apex Guardian Network was founded by Joseph Mueller and Christopher Bell, who bring 30+ years of combined experience across the protection industry, customer service, and firearms training. That combination shapes how AGN operates: officers who can hold a post professionally and de-escalate a situation calmly, not just stand guard.
The company was built around a simple idea — property managers and HOA boards deserve to know that the coverage they’re paying for is actually happening. That’s why AGN provides NFC beacon check-ins for a verifiable patrol record on the posts where that technology is deployed.
AGN serves apartment communities, storage facilities, HOAs, construction sites, retirement communities, and assisted living facilities throughout the Greater Denver Area and Louisville and Lexington metro regions, with a trusted vendor network extending coverage further.
Leadership
Co-founder — Kentucky
Joseph brings extensive experience in security and protection to AGN’s operations, and leads the company’s technology development and implementation — from NFC patrol verification to the Active Response camera system — building a team that’s disciplined, well-trained, and dependable on every shift.
Co-founder — Colorado
Christopher’s background in customer service and client relations shapes how AGN works with property managers and boards — clear communication, responsive support, and coverage that fits how each property actually operates.
How We Work
Every officer participates in ongoing training to stay sharp on procedure, de-escalation, and site-specific protocols — not just a one-time onboarding checklist.
Field supervisors check in on posts on a consistent and randomized schedule, giving officers support in the moment and giving property managers a direct line beyond the officer on-site.
NFC beacon check-ins and watermarked, GPS- and time-stamped patrol photos mean coverage is verifiable, not just reported after the fact.
Being on a property isn’t only about responding when something goes wrong. AGN officers and staff regularly show up for community outreach — setting up at resident events, answering questions about coverage, and putting a face to the patrol car residents see every day.
